Bringing Enlightenment To Darkest Washington

Scott Alderman's letter to the editor ("Private Property And Law to Help the Poor," Feb. 13) recommending that Bill Gates and others provide a copy of the Journal to literate people in Third World countries has much merit.

I would like to suggest they carry the idea one step further by adding members of Congress to the list, especially those who can carry a thought to a logical conclusion (being selective would save them big bucks).
