Natural Causes Are Cited in Activist's Death

Georgian businessman and political activist Badri Patarkatsishvili died of natural causes, according to interim postmortem results, but extensive toxicological tests haven't been carried out, British police said.
Mr. Patarkatsishvili, 52 years old, died at his home in Leatherhead, south of London, Tuesday. The police had treated the death as suspicious.
He had built his fortune in Russia after the breakup of the Soviet Union.
Campaigning from Britain, he ran for president of Georgia last month and lost to incumbent Mikheil Saakashvili.
In Georgia, Mr. Patarkatsishvili's spokesman, Guga Kvitaishvili, said the cause of death appears to be heart failure.
