Nokia Unveils Recycled Handset
Full Text (122 words)BARCELONA, Spain -- Nokia Corp., the world's largest mobile-phone maker by sales, unveiled a new handset made of no new parts.
Called "Remade," the handset uses 100% recycled pieces, the latest in the company's push to go green, Olli-Pekka Kallasvuo, chief executive of Nokia, said yesterday at the Mobile World Congress in Barcelona.
Nokia has also unveiled a new attempt to capture the Internet- services market, announcing on Monday a free media-sharing service and a beefed-up handset with memory rivaled only by U.S. peer Apple Inc.'s recently updated iPhone.
Nokia said the new sharing service, "Share on Ovi," will make it easier for users to upload, manage and share photos and music in a variety of formats in an interactive social community.
