Praxair Inc.'s Praxair Distribution Inc. unit acquired Kirk Welding Supply Inc., a Kansas City, Mo., seller of high-pressure gases, welding equipment and related services. Financial terms of the deal weren't disclosed. Praxair Inc., a maker of gases for metal- fabrication, chemicals, refining and food and beverages industries, said Kirk Welding's 85 employees will join Praxair Distribution.
