Lanier "Lanny" Little was named executive vice president, consumer banking, of First Niagara Bank, a subsidiary of this financial-services company, effective immediately. Mr. Little, 48, succeeds Frank Polino, who continues in an expanded role. The company hasn't finalized his exact role, a spokeswoman said. Mr. Little was regional president for Wells Fargo & Co. in the company's Wisconsin, Illinois and Michigan regions.
