John Fund makes a number of good points about voter fraud and the need for tamper-proof ID ("Voter-Fraud Rethink," op-ed, Jan. 17). Liberals have always trumpeted their concern about the potential for voter disenfranchisement that might accompany requiring proof of identity at the ballot box. My concern is that it is far more likely that an illegally cast vote will negate my legitimate ballot. Just how would the "make every vote count" crowd propose to protect my vote?
