Full Text (63 words)
India's Ranbaxy Laboratories Ltd. and Dr. Reddy's Laboratories Ltd. said they settled generic-drug litigation with GlaxoSmithKline PLC and Novartis AG, respectively.
Ranbaxy, India's largest pharmaceutical company by sales, said the settlement over sumatriptan succinate, the generic version of GlaxoSmithKline's Imitrex, will allow Ranbaxy to sell the drug in the U.S. for 180 days starting in December without competing against any other generic version.
