Full Text (99 words)
NEW YORK -- Soros Fund Management, an investment vehicle founded by billionaire investor George Soros, is hiring BlackRock Inc. co-founder Keith T. Anderson as chief investment officer, according to a letter sent to investors Monday.
Mr. Anderson has been vice chairman and global chief investment officer for fixed income for BlackRock, a money-management firm. His departure, scheduled for next month, follows news in September that BlackRock's president and co-founder, Ralph L. Schlosstein, would leave in early 2008.
Mr. Anderson will start with Soros Fund Management on Feb. 20.
News of Mr. Anderson's job change was reported by Bloomberg News.
