Commonwealth Bank: Approval Is Received For Vietnam Branch

Commonwealth Bank of Australia Ltd. received regulatory approval to open a branch in Ho Chi Minh City, the bank's first in Vietnam. The lender said the branch would cater to Australians traveling to or doing business in Vietnam. Along with Commonwealth Bank, Taiwan's Fubon Bank and Industrial Bank of Korea have been granted an agreement in principle to set up branches in the country.
