Full Text (224 words)The struggling Nets may need a shake-up, and Jason Kidd is offering to start the process.
In a report on ESPN.com on Monday, he was quoted as saying: It used to be if I got a triple-double, that was an automatic win. That's just not the case now. We tried to make this work. We've found out it doesn't. It's time for us all to move on.
I'm not mad at anybody, he added. Sometimes, when you ride a wave, you get to the end and that's all there is.
Kidd, 34, said his agent had talked to the Nets (18-26) about trading him by the Feb. 21 deadline. Kidd, 34, described those discussions as a continuation of talks that began during the All-Star break last year, when the Nets nearly traded him to the Lakers.
