Treasury Auctions Set for This Week; [Schedule]
Full Text (273 words)The Treasury's schedule of financing this week includes Monday's regular weekly auction of new three- and six-month bills, an auction of two-year notes on Monday and auctions of five-year notes and four-week bills on Tuesday.
At the close of the New York cash market on Friday, the rate on the outstanding three-month bill was 2.26 percent. The rate on the six-month issue was 2.35 percent and the rate on the four-week issue was 2.07 percent.
The following tax-exempt fixed-income issues are scheduled for pricing this week:
MONDAY
Pasadena, Calif., Electric, $57.7 million of revenue bonds. Competitive.
TUESDAY
Duluth, Minn., Independent School District, $59.2 million of general obligation bonds. Competitive.
Las Vegas Water District, $365.4 million of general obligation bonds. Competitive.
WEDNESDAY
Maryland Department of Transportation, $250 million of revenue bonds. Competitive.
ONE DAY DURING THE WEEK
Alaska Housing, $80 million of debt securities. Citigroup Global Markets.
City of Austin, Tex., $175 million of general obligation bonds. Lehman Brothers.
Harris County, Tex., Cultural Education Facilities Corporation, $157 million of revenue bonds for the Y.M.C.A. of Greater Houston. Goldman Sachs.
Irving Independent School District, Dallas County, Tex., $86.9 million of unlimited tax school building bonds. Morgan Keegan.
King County, Wash., $232.2 million of limited tax general obligation refunding bonds payable from sewer revenue. Goldman Sachs.
Pennsylvania Higher Education Authority, $54.3 million of debt securities for Edinboro University Foundation student housing project. RBC Capital Markets.
San Francisco, $260 million of airport bonds. Citigroup Global Markets.
