Full Text (198 words)Sonia Yasmin Satija and Rajan Kapoor were married on Saturday at the Biltmore hotel in Coral Gables, Fla. Pandit Bimal G. Maharaj, a Hindu priest, officiated.
Until this month, Mrs. Kapoor, 30, was a lawyer in Miami with the Medicare hearings and appeals unit of the federal Department of Health and Human Services. She graduated from Brandeis and received her law degree from Washington University in St. Louis.
She is the daughter of Rashida Haidri Satija and Dr. Ashok Kumar Satija of Boca Raton, Fla. Her father is an internist there, and the bride's mother is the office manager for the practice.
Mr. Kapoor, 33, is a director at Microsoft in Redmond, Wash., where he handles communications, public relations and strategy for the president of a division that includes the Windows and online-services businesses. He graduated from Cornell and received an M.B.A. from Harvard.
He is the son of Suman Kapoor and Subhash Kapoor of Woodridge, Ill. His mother retired as an accountant for the Fort Wayne and Marion, Ind., campuses of the Veterans Affairs Northern Indiana Health Care System. His father, a retired mechanical engineer, was the chief engineer for those hospitals.
