Lauren Michelle Peoples and Thomas Scott Isenhour were married on Saturday at St. Patrick's Cathedral in New York. Msgr. Robert T. Ritchie, the cathedral's rector, performed the ceremony.

The couple met at Southern Methodist University, from which they graduated, she magna cum laude, he cum laude.

Mrs. Isenhour, 26, is an associate director, specializing in commercial mortgage-backed securities, at Fitch Ratings, the bond rating agency in New York.

She is the daughter of Donna R. Peoples and Porter R. Peoples III of Atlanta. Her father is the director of environmental affairs, in Dalton, Ga., for the Carpet and Rug Institute, a trade organization for which he also oversees a nonprofit group that creates programs to recycle carpets and reduce the number of carpets going to landfills. He is also an environmental-engineering consultant. Her mother is an arts consultant and grant writer for the Pensacola Little Theater/Pensacola Cultural Center in Florida, and the DeKalb Symphony Orchestra in Atlanta.

Mr. Isenhour, also 26, is an associate specializing in credit analysis at Capital Spring, an investment firm in New York. He received a master's degree in accounting from the University of Texas.

His mother is the office manager for the Centennial Club, a private women's social club in Nashville. His father is the president and the founder of Isenhour Door Products, a construction supply company in Nashville.
