Paid Notice: Deaths PINCUS, MORRIS (MURRAY); [Paid Death Notice]
PINCUS--Morris (Murray) , passed away January 24, 2008 at the L.I. Veterans' Home, where his gentle, friendly manor continued to endear him to all. Dr. Pincus was a beloved and respected educator and mentor. His illustrious career included 24 years as principal of Public School 194 in Brooklyn, teaching at Brooklyn College, NYU and the University of New Hampshire and serving as a member of the NYC Board of Examiners. He authored many publications in the field of mathematics education. He leaves behind Bernice, his devoted wife of 63 years, his children Doris, David and Robert, daughters - in - law Ronnie and Susan and son-inlaw Herbert. He was the loving grandfather of Steven, Matthew, Andrea, Gabriel and Hannah. Services will be held at Beth Shalom Memorial Chapel, 760 Smithtown Bypass, Smithtown, NY, Sunday 10am. Shiva will follow.
