JAMES--John W., III . The trustees, staff and auxiliary of Brooklyn Botanic Garden mourn the loss of John W. James, III. Mr. James was a member of the Board of Trustees from 1988-1997, served as the first male president of the Auxiliary, and was awarded the Forsythia Distinguished Service Medal in 1998 for his extensive service to the Garden. He volunteered at Brooklyn Botanic Garden for over 50 years. His devotion to this institution is an inspiration to us all, and we send our heartfelt condolences to his family.
