Full Text (589 words)Allen Iverson scored 30 points and Linas Kleiza added 23 as the host Denver Nuggets beat the struggling Nets, 100-85, Friday night.
Kenyon Martin scored 20 points and had a key basket in the fourth quarter before fouling out with 2 minutes 56 seconds remaining.
The Nets have lost eight in a row, their longest skid in more than three years, dropping all five games on a six-game road trip that now heads to Minnesota.
Richard Jefferson led the Nets with 19 points. Jason Kidd had his 11th triple-double of the season with 13 points, 11 rebounds and 10 assists. It was his 98th career triple-double.
PISTONS 101, MAGIC 93Richard Hamilton scored 32 points and Rasheed Wallace had 13 of his 15 points in the first quarter, helping Detroit build a big lead that allowed it to coast in a victory against visiting Orlando.
Dwight Howard had 22 points and 14 rebounds and Hedo Turkoglu scored 23 for the Magic, who had won three in a row.

In the first regular-season game between Garnett and the handful of former Celtics traded for him, Boston struggled to put away Minnesota. Perkins scored 21, and Garnett had 10 points and 16 rebounds despite leaving the game for 4 minutes with an abdominal strain.
MAVERICKS 112, LAKERS 105 Josh Howard had 26 points and played tough defense on Kobe Bryant during a game-changing third quarter, and host Dallas held on for a victory against the Los Angeles Lakers.
Bryant scored 14 of the Lakers' final 16 points, including the last 10. He finished with 40.
SUNS 110, CAVALIERS 108 Shawn Marion dropped in a baseline floater with 1.1 seconds left for his only field goal, and visiting Phoenix made a season-high 17 3-pointers.
Raja Bell scored 27 points, Steve Nash had 26 -- 21 on 3-pointers -- and Amare Stoudemire added 22.
WIZARDS 104, GRIZZLIES 93 Antawn Jamison had 24 points and 12 rebounds and Washington rebounded from its worst defeat in more than six years to beat visiting Memphis.
Caron Butler converted three free throws without a miss to extend his streak to 60 in a row -- the longest in the N.B.A. since Kobe Bryant made 62 straight in 2005-6.
BOBCATS 90, BULLS 77Emeka Okafor scored 21 points and had 16 rebounds and Gerald Wallace added 21 points to help visiting Charlotte beat Chicago.
Andres Nocioni scored 25 points for the Bulls, who have lost five of their last eight games.

New Orleans made 14 3-pointers over all, including 12 in the second half.
RAPTORS 106, BUCKS 75 Chris Bosh scored 32 points, Carlos Delfino added 18 and Toronto used a decisive third-quarter run to beat visiting Milwaukee.
JAZZ 127, KINGS 113 Carlos Boozer made his first 13 shots and scored 33 points to lead Utah over visiting Sacramento.
Boozer shot 15 of 19 over all, and Andrei Kirilenko added 25 points, 6 rebounds and 6 assists for Utah, which for the first time since 2000 will not lose the season series with Sacramento.
