ROSENBERG--Judy R. Albert Einstein College of Medicine of Yeshiva University is profoundly saddened by the loss of our beloved friend and devoted supporter. In 1953, Judy joined a pioneering group of women who helped muster support for Yeshiva's new medical school. This group became the nucleus of the National Women's Division. She served as president of the Division and its New York Chapter, and was instrumental in establishing the Spirit of Achievement Luncheon, serving as its first chairwoman. In 1991, the Division honored her with the Lizette H. Sarnoff Award for Volunteer Service. She served on the Einstein Board of Overseers for 30 years, holding the position of secretary from 1980 to 1999. Benefactors of the College, she and her late husband, Alfred, endowed the Judy R. and Alfred A. Rosenberg Professorial Chair in Diabetes Research. Judy received an honorary degree from Yeshiva University in 1998. We already miss Judy's presence and extend our heartfelt sympathy to the entire family. Yeshiva University Richard M.
