Full Text (204 words)KUPFERBERG--Harriet. The members of Temple Beth Sholom in Flushing, New York, mourn the passing of their beloved member Harriet Kupferberg. She together with her husband, Dr. Kenneth Kupferberg, who were founding members of Temple Beth Sholom. Harriet was a past president of sisterhood and a member of The Board of Trustees. She was a most generous and supportive, and caring member of our congregation. Harriet was an extraordinary lady freely giving her time and energy to all of Temple Beth Sholom's many activities. KUPFERBERG--Harriet. On behalf of the students, faculty and staff of Queensborough Community College/ CUNY, President Eduardo J. Marti, Ph.D. extends sincerest condolences to the family of our dear friend, Harriet Kupferberg. During her 36 year involvement with the College, Mrs. Kupferberg not only was a consistent supporter, but also became a part of the Queensborough Community College family. Her unstoppable energy and ideas, and her respect for our work, and our students, will be an ongoing inspiration to all whom she has touched. Her enduring support and commitment to Queensborough Community College and the Kupferberg Holocaust Center, named in her honor, will be remembered and acknowledged forever.
