The Goodyear Tire and Rubber Company said it would reduce tire production at two factories in Amiens, France, and up to 500 employees would lose their jobs. The move follows the employees' rejection last year of a plan to modernize and renovate the plants, Goodyear said. The Amiens plants employ about 2,700 people.
