Full Text (148 words)The writers' strike may have shrouded next month's Academy Awards broadcast in uncertainty, but film fans seeking a major awards show can watch The British Academy Film Awards on BBC America at 8 p.m. on Feb. 10. The leading contenders at the ceremonies at the Royal Opera House in London include Atonement, No Country for Old Men and There Will Be Blood. ... Sara and Gerald Murphy, the expatriates who inspired the F. Scott Fitzgerald novel Tender Is the Night, will be the focus of an exhibition at the Yale University Art Gallery from Feb. 26 through May 4. Making It New: The Art and Style of Sara and Gerald Murphy explores their relationships with pivotal figures in the avant-garde in France in the 1920s, including Scott and Zelda Fitzgerald, Fernand Leger, Pablo Picasso, Cole Porter and Ernest Hemingway. The exhibition will include Gerald Murphy's seven surviving paintings.
