Newell Rubbermaid: Multibranded Network For Distribution Grows

Newell Rubbermaid said it plans to open a fifth new multibranded distribution facility, continuing its efforts to reduce costs and improve efficiency in its global distribution network. Newell Rubbermaid said the distribution center in Atlanta will have 300 employees. The company said it has reduced its global network to fewer than 80 facilities. The effort is expected to yield $30 million in savings.
