Sandra Hope Zucker, the daughter of Lee R. Zucker and Gary A. Zucker of East Meadow, N.Y., is to be married on Sunday afternoon to Joshua Michael Bennett, a son of Sandra R. Bennett and Leslie R. Bennett of Merrick, N.Y. Rabbi Bruce Goldwasser is to officiate at Oheka Castle in Huntington, N.Y.

The couple met at Fordham, from which each received a law degree.

The bride, 28, is an associate focusing on medical malpractice and personal injury law at the Brooklyn firm Zucker & Ballen, in which her father is a founding partner. Until June, she was a staff lawyer in the criminal defense division of the Legal Aid Society in New York. She graduated from the University of Michigan. Her mother is a fifth-grade teacher at Walnut Street Elementary School in Uniondale, N.Y.

The bridegroom, also 28, is an associate at the Manhattan office of the law firm Cadwalader, Wickersham & Taft, where he focuses on criminal defense and civil litigation. He graduated from Colgate. His mother is the assistant vice president for membership services at the Medical Society of the State of New York in Lake Success, N.Y. His father is a partner in the law firm Berkman, Henoch, Peterson & Peddy, based in Garden City, N.Y.
