Mari-Claudia Jimenez, the daughter of Mari Rodriguez Ichaso of Manhattan and Orlando Jimenez Leal of Madrid, was married on Saturday to Steven Mark Coffey, the son of Margaret Keaveny of Forest Hills, Queens. The Rev. Israel E. Mago, a Roman Catholic priest, performed the ceremony at St. Agnes Catholic Church in Key Biscayne, Fla.

Ms. Jimenez, 31, is keeping her name. She is an associate at the Manhattan law firm Herrick Feinstein, for which she practices in the art law group. She graduated from Williams and received a master's in Cuban-American history and a law degree from Fordham.

Her father is a filmmaker who has directed documentaries about Cuba, including Improper Conduct, which he directed with Nestor Almendros, and 8-A. Her mother is the corporate editor in Manhattan for Televisa Publishing, which produces Spanish-language magazines; she writes mainly for Vanidades.

The bride is the granddaughter of the late Justo Rodriguez Santos, a Cuban poet who was a member of Origenes, a prominent group of writers and painters founded in the 1930s by the poet Jose Lezama Lima.

Mr. Coffey, also 31, is an in-house lawyer at Pzena Investment Management, a stock investment management firm in Manhattan. He graduated from Cornell and received his law degree from the Benjamin N. Cardozo School of Law at Yeshiva University.

His mother is an administrative coordinator in the Manhattan office of the Cleveland law firm Jones Day.
