The Riviera Maya Has a Brand-New Resort
Full Text (119 words)A luxury resort has opened in the Riviera Maya region of the Yucatan peninsula in Mexico. Rosewood Hotels & Resorts' newest property is the Rosewood Mayakoba, which has 128 suites -- 16 of them beachfront -- and which includes lagoons, mangrove forests and, of course, sandy beaches. Amenities include plunge pools in all rooms, 40 butlers, an 18-hole Greg Normangolf course and a tequila library. The spa, scheduled to open in March, is built around a cenote. Through April 30, guests who stay for a minimum of three nights will get $100 off the normal nightly rate on any room (rates begin at $695), plus breakfast for two, which is not usually included; www.rosewoodmayakoba.com.
